Animal Medicine Cards are based on the folklore of North American indigenous peoples.  I grew up with the flora and fauna of the St. Lawrence River Valley between New York State and Ontario.  

I also lived in Seattle, Cambridge, Austin, and now Portland, Maine.  As an educator, I taught multilingual adults and children from many countries, as well as autistic children.

The Animal Cards came into my hands as a Christmas gift, two months before I underwent a near-death illness and surgery.  My Animal Guides became an uncanny source of healing, inspiration and wisdom, as well as my real, live Lassie collie companion.
